Microwave Link (Datalink) Equipment
Long Range Automated Steerable Tracking Datalink System
Depending on the microwave transmission range, different ground stations are offered.

For longer range programmes, where the aircraft is expected to be much further away, an automatic tracking antenna system on the ground will be required so that the receive antenna can be directed towards to exact location of the aircraft in order to maximise the effective range of the link.
