Skyquest launch high definition aircraft
video displays
Skyquest Aviation, the
UK based supplier of specialist aircraft mission equipment,
has today announced the launch of a range of high definition
(HD) video displays for use with the new breed of digital
video & FLIR cameras such as the FLIR Systems STAR
SAFIRE HD and Wescam MX-15 HD.
The displays, ranging is size from 6” through to 20”, offer a dedicated DVi (digital video) input designed to work over long cable lengths often associated with aircraft installations. Resolutions up to UXGA (1600 x 1280) are supported and offer airborne surveillance users unmatched video quality from the new range of high definition daylight and FLIR cameras coming onto the market.
In addition to dedicated DVi support, each of the displays can also handle multiple additional video and computer signals making them the ideal solution for multi-sensor applications and for use in installations where one display needs to handle multiple tasks.
Skyquest will display the units at this years Helitech exhibition in September, along with a dedicated high resolution video recorder.
